Bridal Party Photography

The bridal party is a special group of close friends that have friendships and familial bonds going back several years or more.  These bonds may seem like intangible relationships that cannot be captured in bridal party photography, but that is not actually the case.  A good photographer knows how to work with the lighting and subjects to help bring out the untarnished emotions and capture them in amazing photographs.

The photographs taken of a bridal party are often some of the most striking in any wedding, but only if they are taken by a true storyteller.  It takes a person with a passion for the emotional story that the faces and eyes of bridal party members can convey to really capture the essence of the moment.  The look of happiness that flashes across a little sister’s face when her big sister finishes her vows is timeless, but it only occurs for a split second.   The rapid blinking away of tears in the eyes of another member of the bridal party reveals the depth of friendship with the friend she grew up with from the time she was old enough to ride a tricycle.  The fleeting look of envy on another friend’s face during the groom’s vows might signal trouble for a boyfriend that seems as if he is having a hard time measuring up to one of the most romantic scenes imaginable.

All these events are stories, and tell great tales of their own, but they are also transitory.  Here one second, gone that same second.  While regular bridal party photographs can capture people standing around, expert bridal party photography can capture these amazing emotions and stories and put them on print, or online.  This is the very essence of bridal party photography, but each tale is as different and unique as each wedding and its participants.
